other things which won’t make your life better.

A curious gin from Monkey 47, produced in Germany’s Schwarzwald – also known as the Black Forest – and made with an impressive combination of no less than 47 botanicals. This medley of ingredients includes fruits and herbs that are native to the Black Forest, as well as exotic Asian botanicals, including elderberries, mint, almonds, jasmine, ginger, Vervain and camomile, to name a few. Understandably complex, the palate finds a delicate balance between notes of juniper, citrus, sweet flowers, bitter fruit and peppery spices that lends itself well to use in cocktails such as Martinis and Gimlets, as well as being mixed with tonic and garnished with a slice of orange.

Martini Extra Dry’s rare woods, herbs, citrus and raspberry extracts are the pillar of the 20th century’s defining drink: the Dry Martini cocktail. First introduced on New Year’s Day 1900, after 10 years of development by Luigi Rossi’s sons, Martini Extra Dry has at its heart the violet-scented tartness of Florentine Orris – iris roots grown for three years before being sun-dried.

Martini Rosso Vermouth is a light, balanced and scarlet-hued Italian sweet red vermouth. This famous drink was first created by the Martini family in the ancient town of Pessione, nestling in the foothills of the Alps near Turin. The exquisite red vermouth has remained inextricably linked to the Italian passions of food, entertaining friends and motor racing, since 1863.

Founded in 1715, Martell is the oldest of the great cognac houses, drawing on 300 years of savoir-faire to transform grapes from the Charente region into exceptionally pure eaux-de-vie using a traditional double-distillation method. Together with a passion for its craft and a profound attachment to the terroir, Maison Martell is defined by the audacity with which it has challenged convention to create new expressions of cognac, including the icon Martell Cordon Bleu in 1912.

The Malfy gin is a premium Italian gin, which might not be the first place you associate with the new wave of gins taking over the world. We were excited to try it because it isn’t something that we’re that familiar with. It is distilled at Torino Distillati in Moncalieri, Italy. Malfy Gin is made using vacuum distillation, which is also called cold distillation. This uses a lower temperature and is how we keep our botanicals fresh and flavourful. It is a newer gin technique that is aimed at retaining as much flavour in the gins versus a more traditional method that breakdowns the botanicals.

Flavours: Malfy Original, Malfy Arancia, Malfy Limone, Malfy Rosa
